‘Leadership is often the most important component of a road safety initiative. The suggestion that better is possible is powerful. In the Temiskaming Shores Area, a small group of advocates are challenging the notion of what’s possible when it comes to road safety. Mark Wilson, Resource Manager of GEMS (Going the Extra Mile for Safety) is here to show was a small but dedicated group can do to make roads safer for all.

Late in 2018, OGRA commissioned a survey to gage Ontarians’ thoughts and opinions about road safety.  The results were illuminating. Scott Butler, OGRA’s Manager of Policy and Research will provide a brief overview of the findings and explain what they might mean for municipalities.
